Students learning remotely can now get access to digital devices for use at home!

Many people are unaware of the fact that schools and colleges can get laptops and tablets for children learning remotely . The Department for Education (DfE) is providing a range of support to schools, colleges, academy trusts and local authorities through its Get help with technology programme. Schools will be able to order these digital devices for disadvantaged children who do not have access to the devices at home.

Parents, carers and pupils cannot apply for digital devices or internet access through this scheme themselves. They will have to contact their school to discuss requirements for accessing remote education.
