YOUR TAX MONEY HAS BEEN WASTED BY THE LABOUR LEADERSHIP

MONEY NEEDS TO BE INVESTED IN LOCAL BUSINESSES

Croydon council wasted at leas £200 million through a loan to Brick by Brick, who have built unusable properties. The council also spent £69.2 million on refurbishing Fairfield Halls for works worth only a fraction of that money. Funds from local businesses are required in order for any community to flourish; this generates job sand local economy growth, which leads to a sense of pride felt by the community's residents

Meanwhile many businesses keep Croydon alive have been refused funding by the council.

£200 million could have been invested into local businesses through development grants, community centres, shelters for the homeless etc. This would have created more jobs, a flow of funds into the borough through business rejuvenation and community engagement.
